
WelcomeThe Institute of Measurement and Control of New Zealand is the pre-eminent representative of the instrumentation, automation and control industry in New Zealand. The New Zealand national body is dedicated to the promotion of the theory and practice of automatic control and instrumentation in science and industry. The Institute was established in 1966. forthcoming activitesWe are offering Foundation Fieldbus Essentials for Instrumentation Professionals on both the 29th and 30th of July 2008. Course leader will be Allen Tighe from Australia. In September of 2008 we are planning a workshop on Safety of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (the date for this is yet to be determined.) In November 2008 there will be Natural Gas Processing Certificate Course conducted by Professor Bill Svrcek, President of Virtual Materials Group, Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Associate Professor Brent Young, Director of the Industrial Information and Control Centre at the University of Auckland.
