This course is run as a two day seminar.
The course is run in conjunction with the Open Device Net Vendors Association New Zealand Australia User Group Inc (ODVA)
The purpose of the course is to give the student the ability to successfully configure a DeviceNet installation.
Study is divided between theory and practical exercises which form an essential feature of this course.
Ideal for students with an Electrical background.

Equipment used and course content:
The configuration software used is DeviceNet manager supplied by Rockwell
Automation.
Advanced Programming Software will be used for programming the
SLC500 PLC.
Allen Bradley SLC500 PLCs will be used.
You will configure a network including some of the following devices:
variable speed drives, operator interfaces, photo electric devices,
proximity detectors, contactors, I/O interfaces.
You will be exposed to equipment from vendors including:
Rockwell Automation, Cutler Hammer (EIC), Tait Control Systems, PDL, Connector systems, Keystone, SMC, Burkett.
