Course Overview

This course is run as a two day seminar.

Study is divided between theory and practical exercises which form an essential feature of this course.

Ideal for students with an Electrical or Mechanical background.

(Please bring a calculator. Lunch is provided).

Course Content:

Features and Advantages of PLCs
Programming of IDEC PLCs with non-configurable inputs and outputs
Programming of Allen Bradley SLC500 PLCs. With configurable rack inputs and outputs
motor stop start functions
Timers and Counters
A range of programming instructions
You will program a number of projects to develop skills in PLC programming.
