Do you want to be part of a New Zealand delegation to TWO of the world's most prestigious process control expos?
This year, the organisers of the ISA and Integrated Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) Expos have decided to run parallel events at the same venue in New Orleans.
The IMC is organising a visit to the events, and with sufficient delegates, will be able to qualify for an attractive 'package' deal. Figures will be finalised once we have firm numbers, but initial research suggests the trip will cost about NZ$4,000.00 per person.
That covers air fares, accommodation and meals.
The IMC is also trying to organise a field visit (a day trip) for delegates to Baytown (near Houston, Texas), where the Fieldbus Foundation is developing the High Speed Ethernet protocol.
Preliminary plans indicate
a Sunday, 20th August departure from Auckland.
The exhibition - held at New Orlean's Ernest N. Morial Convention Centre - includes a technical conference (presentations on variety of themes will be held every morning).
Speakers are focusing on the following themes:
Featured Speakers include
Andy Chatha, President, ARC Advisory Group (e-Business Challenges and Opportunities
for Manufacturers and Retailers) and Jim Nyquist, President, Emerson Performance
Solutions (Expanse of the Solutions Business in Manufacturing).
IMS 2000 papers and presentations focus on e-Business, Business and Planning Systems, Enterprise Integration and Manufacturing and Control Systems.
