Dear Fieldbus Foundation Member:
From time to time we receive requests to conduct a worldwide End User
Council meeting. In most cases the time and costs of such a meeting make it
very difficult to accomplish.
Over the last few months we have been advised however that a number of
global users will be attending ISA 2000 Expo and the possibility of
scheduling a worldwide, meeting during that time frame appears to have
become a reality.
The Foundation is pleased to announce the first worldwide End User Council
Meeting. The meeting will be held at Lee College in Baytown, Texas on August
25, 2000, the day after ISA 2000 closes.
With the release of the HSE specifications, and the availability of the Lee
College test site, this makes an ideal venue for the meeting.
The meeting will begin at 9:00AM and conclude at 4:00PM with the following
agenda:
August 24, 00 Travel from New Orleans to Houston
Hotel Houston Intercontinental Marriott (7 Rooms currently reserved)
Quality Inn in Baytown (10 Rooms currently reserved)

Come and Tour the Site of our SHE Demonstration facility and a briefing on
the HSE Demo.
Cost: To cover the costs of the meeting room, A/V equipment, breaks and
lunch, a fee of $50 for all attendees will be charged.
Registration Deadline: Meeting registration forms must be received no later
than August 18, 2000. Meeting space is limited.

in proximity to both George W Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport.

Directions to Lee College Campus: From George W. Bush Airport (Formerly
Houston Intercontinental Airport): Take 59 South to Beltway 8
going South.
Get on I-10 east, take 146/Dayton exit. Go 146 South to McKinney
Road. At light take a left (will turn into Alexander) Go all the way down
to Texas Ave. Go down Texas Ave 2 to 3 miles until you get to Decker. Take
a left and you will see LEE College.
Directions to Lee College Campus: From Houston Hobby Airport:
Take 45 North
to Loop 610 East, to I-10 East (going towards Beaumont) take the
Spur 330 exit (also called Decker Drive) stay on this for 7 miles the name
will change to Market Street. Continue on Market Street until you come
to the intersection of Market Street and Lee Drive (there will be a red
light) Turn left and LEE College is on your left.
