One tool the Institute will use to promote a greater interaction and exchange of information is its website. Created a year ago (primarily for the Control ‘97 exposition), the site is receiving a significant upgrade, providing features such as a forum for members to pose and answer questions, a database and a noticeboard.

"The website," says Portlock, "will allow members to communicate much more freely with each other, and explore issues and problems to mutual advantage."
